Local Teams/Clubs

There is a wide range of different football teams and clubs in the York and Huntington area.

The area of York has many local leagues, with many of them based around various areas of York including Huntington, Haxby, and Poppleton. There are 2 divisions in the U19 league, with the majority of the players in the teams having grown up with the same team, creating a strong bond and lots of passion for victory in the team. There are home fields located in each team’s local area, with matches being played every Sunday. There is also a local cup competition, which mixes teams from both divisions for a tournament.
